OG.com’s entire fee schedule fits in one sentence: $0.02 per contract to open, $0.02 per contract to close early, and $0 at settlement, win or lose. No probability-weighted formula like Kalshi. No category-based rates like Polymarket. No deposit or withdrawal fees. One flat number.

If you've seen older writeups describing size-tiered contracts with separate technology fees, discard them. As of July 2026, the flat two-cent model is what OG charges.

The Structure

Opening a position: $0.02 per contract. Closing early: $0.02 per contract. Holding to settlement: $0, whether it settles at $1.00 or zero. Buy 100 contracts, pay $2 to open; hold to resolution and that's the entire bill.

The Settlement Waiver Is the Whole Game

The $0-at-settlement rule splits traders into two camps. Buy-and-hold traders pay once. Active traders pay the round trip every time: open $2, reposition $2, re-enter $2. OG built a fee model that rewards conviction and taxes fidgeting.

Worked Examples

Buy 100 contracts at $0.55, wins at settlement: open fee $2, settlement $0, cost $55, payout $100, net profit $43. Sell early at $0.65 instead: open $2 + close $2 = $4 in fees on a $10 gross move, net $6. A $0.90 favorite held to a win: open fee $2, net profit $8 (Kalshi's formula would charge only $0.63 there).

Fees Don't Move with Probability

Kalshi's taker fee peaks at $1.75 per 100 contracts at 50 cents and collapses at the extremes. OG charges the same $2 everywhere. So at 50/50 Kalshi is slightly cheaper; at $0.90 or $0.05 Kalshi is dramatically cheaper; and OG's flat fee is brutal on penny longshots ($2 on $5 of 5-cent contracts is a 40% toll).

The Full Comparison

Cost on ~$100 notional at a 50/50 price: OG held to settlement $2.00; OG closed early $4.00; Kalshi taker $1.75 max; Polymarket Geopolitics $0; Polymarket Sports $0.75; Polymarket Crypto $1.75; sportsbook ~$4.50 implied vig. OG lands mid-pack among exchanges and miles ahead of any sportsbook.

Deposits and Withdrawals

OG charges nothing on either side. ACH free (1-3 days), debit card free from OG, crypto via the Crypto.com ecosystem (network gas fees apply).

Bottom Line

OG runs the most legible fee schedule in prediction markets: two cents in, two cents out early, free at settlement. Genuinely cheap for traders who take positions and let them resolve, and a bad deal for scalpers and longshot collectors. If your style is conviction over churn, the schedule is built for you.
